A rare find, circular chair pad that fits a classic Vienna chair.
Approximate dimensions: 15 inches in diameter. Distance between straps (in axis) 9 ½".
Thick enough to block the cold of a seat, yet thin enough to let you feel its firmness.
Machine quilted-in-the-ditch and across, totally reversible. The straps are attached in a very solid manner, with kids and pets in mind.
MATERIALS:
Patchwork: locally sourced high quality cotton fabric and vintage calico, reinforced with a fusible interfacing.
Middle layer: one layer of polyester felt plus one layer of a special blanket fabric which is technically a cotton tabby with sheep's wool inserted into it. It is soft, thick, very durable and spongy: regains its sponginess after washing.
Backing: durable upholstery Jacquard velvet.
Care instructions: machine wash on "hand wash" cycle, wash and rinse in water of the same temperature (cold-cold or warm-warm). Pre-soak for stains in lukewarm water, if necessary. Hang to dry or dry flat. Iron patchwork only on hot setting.
