This is a 2 ply, heavy worsted weight 100% wool yarn 10 WPI (wraps per inch).
The skein is 77 grams and 129 meters (2.7 oz and 141 yards).
The color is slightly variegated basil green with some occasional ocre and light mint shades. This yarn is rather soft (the fiber must be around 24-25 microns) and has a rustic look due to its uneven texture.
The fiber for this skein was sourced locally from a farm in the Valcartier area near Quebec City in Canada. It was hand dyed at the farm with the non-acid dyes prior to spinning.
