Learn To Spin Sheep's Wool on a Traditional Spinning Wheel!
Sign up for a traditional spinning wheel class to learn how to spin sheep's wool from A to Z in a picturesque atmosphere in the heart of the village of Deschambault, one of the most beautiful villages in Quebec! The class takes place at the Old Presbytery of Deschambault built in 1815.
The class consists of three sessions that are offered on three consecutive weekends, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., totalling 18 hours of learning. Two groups will take off after Christmas holidays:

Saturdays, January 11, 18 and 25, 2025
and
Sundays, February 9, 16 and 23, 2025.
Maximum seven participants per group. The price is 260$.
Seven beautiful ancestral spinning wheels, as well as the tools and all the wool necessary for learning will be at your disposal for this class. It is possible to rent a wheel for each week between the classes. If you have your own working spinning wheel, you can bring it and learn to spin on it. If you have a spinning wheel that needs a little TLC, you can bring that too and leave it to be repaired by a professional cabinetmaker.
