Fabric hand woven on a traditional four-shaft loom. Perfect to make a bag or a pouch, or even as an upholstery fabric for some precious little chair.

Materials: 100% wool, hand dyed hand-spun yarn and commercial yarn.
Made of 100% Canadian wool: hand dyed handspun yarn as decorative weft and commercial worsted wool yarn as warp and tabby weft.
The handspun yarn was prepared by the artist from A to Z (washing, carding, dyeing with the heavy metals-free dyes, spinning on a traditional spinning wheel).
The worsted wool provides solidity, and the thicker handspun wool - geometric pattern and texture. The variety of tabby weft colors creates the striped pattern.
Care instructions: This fabric had already been washed. Hand washing with a mild detergent recommended. Can be washed it in a washing machine (hand wash cycle, mild detergent) but has to be removed promptly. Hang to dry and iron lightly on wool setting with steam, preferably through cheesecloth.
