This is a 2 ply, chunky weight 100% wool yarn 7.5
WPI (wraps per inch).
Two different skeins of yarn are available:
Skein #1: 73 g - 91 m (2.57 oz - 99 yards)
Skein #2: 67 g - 81 m (2.36 oz - 88 yards)
The original fiber is from a sheep of Babydoll breed (look them up, they are soooo cute!) sourced locally from a farm in the Mauricie region in the province of Quebec, Canada. This wool is very spongy, quite fine for its strength (around 25 microns) and therefore rather soft. Its natural color was gray heather. Prior to spinning, I hand dyed this fiber with heavy metal-free dyes by The Greener Shade.
