Two ply fingering (sock) weight yarn 19 WPI (wraps per inch). Hand spun from East Friesian sheep wool sourced locally as a raw fleece from a farm in Saguenay region in Quebec, Canada.
The colour is the natural white colour of the sheep. It is soft white, almost ivory. The fiber thickness is around 28 microns: it is not scratchy but it does feel like real wool.
This yarn will be perfect for a shawl or a pair of socks or gloves.
The sample on the last photo was knit with 2.25mm needles/US1, 12 stitches wide.
