Elegant and extra long woollen scarf woven by hand on a traditional weaving loom, one thread at a time. 100% Canadian wool, a combination of a fine worsted yarn providing solidity and thicker woollen yarn making this scarf warm and soft. The scarf is reversible.
The design is a subtle alternation of weft colours on a polychrome warp, enriched by two alternating colours of large stripes: light beige and medium gray. The scarf looks gray at a distance but a close-up reveals that this gray consists of multiple bright colours and shades.
Measures 91" long (+2 ½” fringe) x 16" wide (232 x 40 cm plus fringes 6 cm).
Material: 100% wool.
The woollen fabric will soften with wear and each washing, just like linen does.
Care: This scarf had already been washed. Hand washing with a mild detergent recommended. However, you can wash it in a washing machine (hand wash cycle, mild detergent) but take care to remove promptly. Wash and rinse in water of the same temperature (warm-warm or cold-cold). Hang to dry and iron on wool setting with steam, not pressing heavily onto the fabric, or iron through a cheesecloth.
