Very pretty and fully functional antique spinning wheel manufactured in Quebec at the turn of the 20th century. Manufacturer uncertain and most probably comes from the Kamouraska sector. However, its precast iron pedal, probably a reparation by a previous owner, let think of the Saint-Hyacinthe area.

This spinning wheel was completely restored and adjusted by a local cabinetmaker: it has a new jack, new wheel pins and its wheel has been thoroughly adjusted with lead cushions. It also has a new drive band by Métier doré.
Like all antique spinning wheels, this particular wheel comes with just one original bobbin. You can order additional bobbins made to suit this wheel, in this case, please let us know when purchasing.
