Professionally restored and fully functional antique spinning wheel (real CPW, Canadian Production Wheel) made in Quebec. The manufacturer is not marked but can be identified, with a high degree of certainty, as Siméon Laurence from Saint-Maurice in Quebec (1834-1897). This spinning wheel has aged beautifully: the green colour and its patina are original.

The feel you get while spinning is like driving a limousin car with a very long base: smooth and cradling. This spinning wheel was restored and adjusted by a local cabinetmaker and is equipped with a new drive band by Métier doré.
Like all antique spinning wheels, this particular wheel comes with just one original bobbin. You can order additional bobbins made to suit this wheel, in this case, please let us know when purchasing.
